Which Lower Saucon Roads Will Be Oiled and Chipped This Summer?

Each summer the Lower Saucon Township Public Works Department oils and chips some township roads.

Oil and chip signs are posted along Friedensville Road in Lower Saucon Township on June 6, 2016. PennDOT maintenance workers are oiling/chipping some state roads in the township. Signs are also posted on Seidersville Road.

Each summer the Lower Saucon Township Public Works Department oils and chips some township roads.

During the summer of 2016 the following township roads will be oiled and chipped, according to information posted on the township website under the public works department’s Road Project List:

  1. County Line Road between the Springfield Township line and the Williams Township line
  2. Wassergass Road between Lower Saucon Road and Kefallonia Drive
  3. Keleman Road between Drifting Drive and the Springfield Township line
  4. Williams Church Road between Maple Drive and the Williams Township line
  5. Mountain Drive South between Mountain Drive North and Seidersville Road
  6. Old Philadelphia Pike between Black River Road and Stonesthrow Road
  7. Apple Street between Wilhelm Drive and Wilhelm Drive

Public Works will also oil and chip and overlay with blacktop the following roads:

  1. Apple Street between Wilhelm Drive and Mockingbird Hill Road
  2. Courtney Court (entire length)
  3. Drifting Drive between Wassergass Road and County Line Road
  4. Hafler Road (entire length)
  5. Old Philadelphia Pike between Rt. 378 and Seidersville Road
  6. Fire Lane starting at the Salisbury Township line for a distance of 1,056 feet south
  7. Black River Road from the township line to the bridge past the entrance to Saucon Acres
