A Hellertown man was charged with making terroristic threats and two counts of harassment, after borough police said he threatened to break a woman’s jaw during a phone conversation and threatened to shut up a man–also allegedly telling him to kill himself–in a voicemail message left on his phone Wednesday night, according to a story published by WFMZ-TV Channel 69 News.
John Charles Buddock, 36, of the 1300 block of Main Street, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. after police allegedly saw him on the front lawn of the woman’s home, where he was still speaking to her and the man on the phone according to the story.
Buddock was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $15,000 bail following an arraignment before District Judge Jacqueline Taschner, according to court records, and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing before District Judge Anthony G. Rapp Jr. Sept. 1.
