Valuable Machine Stolen from Lower Saucon Backyard, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating the theft of a valuable machine used in excavating or paving from a backyard in the 1400 block of Greenwood Court, they said Wednesday.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating the theft of a valuable machine often used in excavating or paving work from a backyard in the 1400 block of Greenwood Court, they said Wednesday.

According to police, a plate tamper valued at $1,500 was stolen at around 9 p.m. Monday.

Plate tampers are typically used to compact soil, sand, gravel and asphalt.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
