Elderly Man in CRV Backed Into Car in Parking Lot, Left Scene, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police hope to identify a man who they say was driving a red Honda CRV when he backed into a car in the parking lot at Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, Tuesday, Nov. 22 shortly after 11:30 a.m.

Lower Saucon Township Police hope to identify a man who they say was driving a red Honda CRV when he backed into a car in the parking lot at Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road, Tuesday, Nov. 22 shortly after 11:30 a.m.

“The elderly male never stopped and left the scene of the accident,” police said in describing the hit-and-run. “He was seen traveling towards Route 412, possibly heading north.”

Police said the vehicle that was backed into was damaged, and added that there may be blue paint transfer on the CRV’s passenger side back bumper.

The man who was driving the CRV is white, police said.
