A 16-year-old girl who went missing from Hellertown late last week has been found unharmed and is now safely at home with her parents, borough police announced in a news release Tuesday night.
Mallery Mules, of Phillips Street, was classified a runaway and was located in a “nearby municipality” around 8 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Mules’ disappearance was heavily covered by local media and posts about her status as a missing teen were widely shared on Facebook.
“Hellertown Police would like to thank all media agencies for their role in the dissemination of information regarding her disappearance,” the news release said.
