Chelsea doesn’t respond to her name yet, “as we think it was given to her by the shelter very recently,” she said.

Chelsea is two years old and weighs 50 to 55 pounds. She does not have a collar on but is microchipped.

Lower Saucon Township Police have been notified about the dog being missing.

A poster released by Hound Hunters of NEPA Inc. urges anyone who sees Chelsea not to call out to her, chase her or attempt to catch her.

“She is a new rescue and is scared and skittish, and she will only run,” they advised.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call Cara or Earl at 610-509-9229 and/or Hound Hunters of NEPA at 484-894-3401.
