Just like last year–when Thoroughly Modern Millie wowed local audiences–the Saucon Valley High School Theater Department’s 2017 spring musical is a lively Jazz Age comedy.

Set in the 1920s, Nice Work If You Can Get It is the story of a charming and wealthy playboy, Jimmy Winter, who meets female bootlegger Billie Bendix the weekend of his wedding. Jimmy, who has been married three (or is it four?) times before, is preparing to marry Eileen Evergreen, a self-obsessed modern dancer…but his plans begin to change thanks to Billie.

The show will be staged Thursday, March 2 through Saturday March 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. in the Saucon Valley High School auditorium.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors. There will again be a Community Dinner and Show for $25 per person (free for local seniors with ID) on Thursday, March 2 at 5 p.m.

Checks for tickets should made payable to Saucon Valley High School and mailed with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Saucon Valley Performing Arts Association, P.O. Box 311, Hellertown, PA 18055. All ticket sales are final.
