Mabel B. Werkheiser, 91, formerly of Lower Saucon Township, died Monday, March 6, 2017 at Colony Club Assisted Living Community, Sunrise, Fla. She was the wife of the late Walter H. Werkheiser (died May 2, 2010). She and her late husband were married 66 years. She was born in Rodman, Pa., on Feb. 3, 1926 to the late George R. and Hulda (Smith) Heuston. She worked at the former Hellertown Manufacturing for 30 years until retiring in 1981. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon.
SURVIVORS
Loving daughter: Bonnie L. Cressman of Plantation, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters: Inez Ringer, Ethel Shoemaker, Leira Cassidy; and brothers: George Wilford, Gerald Heuston.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
