A Lower Saucon Township man who struck a utility pole as he was driving on Lower Saucon Road on the afternoon of March 28 was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and has since been charged with DUI, township police said Monday in a news release.
According to police, Jason Miller, 39, of the 2700 block of Wassergass Road, was driving a truck when he hit the pole at 4:42 p.m.
He was not injured in the crash, police said.
Police did not indicate what Miller’s alleged blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was, and court documents related to the case were not yet available online as of Tuesday.
