A 26-year-old Bath man who assaulted two special needs patients while working as a caregiver for LifePath Inc. at their facility at 2393 Black River Road in Lower Saucon Township in February cried Friday after Northampton County Judge Michael Koury sentenced him to six months to 2 years in prison for neglect of care on two dependent people and barred him from ever working in a dependent care facility again, Lehigh Valley Live reported.

Androw Emad Metri told the court he acted out of frustration when he grabbed an elderly deaf woman he was helping shower by the face–causing a gash in her cheek that required stitches to close when he pulled her up–and denied punching a blind and deaf elderly man in his eye repeatedly, admitting only to probing his eye to check on swelling by poking it, the news site reported.
