Hilda H. Nagy, 102, of Hellertown, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Nagy, who died on April 19, 2009. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on May 16, 1915 to the late Louis and Mary (Newhardt) Schlener. She was a member of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville. Hilda was an avid baker and loved her gardening. Her family wishes to specially acknowledge their appreciation for the staff of Saucon Valley Manor for her years of care.
SURVIVORS
Sons: Joseph J. of California, Jeffrey R. (Mary) of Lafayette, Ind., Robert J. (Donna K.) of Hellertown; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings: Louis, Robert, Frances, Pauline.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 12:30 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
