The Saucon Valley Middle School gymnasium received a little makeover this weekend.
On Saturday, while the Varsity was taking care of business in the District XI Tournament, the Saucon Valley Junior High wrestlers opened the doors of the middle school and rolled out the red carpet to welcome a handful of junior high teams from around the region. The Panthers were one of 10 select teams to face off and do battle during this competitive day of wrestling.

Even though they could not fill a full lineup due to injury and other scheduling conflicts, the Saucon Valley wrestlers performed well. They were down six wrestlers, but it was still a respectable showing for the Panthers.

UP NEXT: The Saucon Valley Junior High wrestlers will circle the wagons for two weeks of practice before competing at Parkland Area High School in the District XI Junior High School tournament on Saturday Feb. 17 and Sunday Feb. 18.
