Elizabeth Irma Farkas, 101, formerly of Hellertown died Monday, March 19, 2018 at Sacred Heart by the Creek, Upper Saucon Township.
She was the wife of the late Alexander Farkas, who died July 30, 1990. Irma was born in Easton on Sept. 17, 1916 to the late John and Irma (Balint) Sinko. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Bethlehem, and a 1933 graduate of Phillipsburg High School.
SURVIVORS
Brother: Alex (Virginia) Sinko of Alpha, N.J.; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings: Margaret Ohl, Lenka Musgnung, Julia Wilson and John Sinko.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
