The time of year for the annual summer Lower Saucon Township Parks Program is rapidly approaching.

The program–which is run by the Saucon Valley Community Center–is open to children who have completed grades K-6 and reside in Lower Saucon Township, which subsidizes its cost.

The first session takes place from June 18 to July 13, and the second session runs from July 16 to Aug. 10.

The program runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and consists of various activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games and group discussions, with a snack provided halfway through the morning.

Registration for 2018’s program begins May 9 at 8 a.m. and runs through May 13. The cost is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child in the same household.

In celebration of the recent reopening of the renovated Steel City Park sponsored registrations are available for Steel City children, thanks to an anonymous donor.
