In a news release Friday, police said they received three reports that cars had been entered and items taken in the 300 block of Spruce Street and the 800 block of New York Avenue.

Police said two the vehicles were unsecured, and a third was entered through a “vent shade.”

The thefts occurred between 9 p.m. on July 14 and 9:47 a.m. the following day.

“Residents are encouraged to secure their vehicles,” police said.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact borough police at 610-838-7040 or 610-759-2200.
