A Springfield Township man is charged following an alleged domestic disturbance in which police say he strangled another person in the 2100 block of Pleasant View Road Sept. 4, according to township police.
Jeffrey Scott Wrecsics, 33, was arrested Friday on charges of strangulation (Felony 2), simple assault-domestic violence (Misdemeanor 2) and recklessly endangering another person (Misdemeanor 2), according to police and court records.
Police said in a post on their Crimewatch website that Wrecsics was arrested Friday evening at the property of a relative on Wrecsics Road.
Following a preliminary arraignment before District Judge Regina Armitage on Saturday, Wrecsics was committed to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
According to court records, his bail was posted Saturday by professional bondsman Raymond Winegrad of Morrisville, Bucks County.
A preliminary hearing for Wrecsics is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. before Armitage.
