The Panthers fell to a 7-2 record on Friday night with a Colonial League championship loss to the Notre Dame Crusaders. Even though it was a heartbreaking loss for Panther Nation, there were still a healthy number of Krunch Time! plays. This time, Saucon Source gives you a little trench warfare as we highlight a noteworthy play by Jared Harka (#61).
In 3rd quarter action, Saucon Valley desperately needed to convert this 4th & 5 to stay within striking distance of the high-flying Crusaders. The Panthers dial up a play where they appear to be running speed-option to their left. However, Dante Mahaffey (#12) pitches the ball to Ryan Holub (#13) on a reverse instead of Ian Csicsek. Both Jared Harka and Tim Weaver pull from the left side to lead block for Holub around the Panthers right end. Watch closely as Harka goes bowling for Crusaders!
