Wearing #61, the 1st Team All Colonial League guard is listed at 5’9″, 200. Jared also earned 2018 Colonial League recognition for his tough play as a defensive lineman. From his defensive side of the ball, Jared has 46 Career Tackle Assists which ties him for the 16th spot.
Who’s #1 for tackle assists in a career? Carvis (2012-2015) had 129 career assists.
Coach Phil Sams said it: “Jared was a repeat 1st Team All Colonial League guard and a 2nd Team All Colonial league defensive tackle. He got robbed at 1st team defensive tackle. He is the best defensive lineman in the league and deserves to be recognized higher than 2nd Team. Jared is as tough as they come. If people knew how injured he was and what he played through they would be amazed. He is one of the best football players to ever come out of Saucon Valley. He is everything you look for in a football player. He is tough, talented, hard working and a great teammate. Jared was voted by the players and the coaching staff as a captain”.
