Visit Neighbors Home & Garden Center this weekend for savings and fun as the store kicks off the holiday season during their annual Christmas Open House Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2.
There will be holiday cheer and cuteness galore at Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., with proceeds to benefit the Center for Animal Health and Welfare.
Local vendors will be on hand with food samples, and guests aged 21 and over can expect to enjoy beer tastings and more from Hellertown’s Lost Tavern Brewing on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., as well as wine samples served by Black River Farms of Lower Saucon Township on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
New this year is a “magical mailbox” that will deliver letters to the North Pole all December, so bring the kids and make sure they have their Christmas wish lists ready. (Please be sure to put your return address on your letter, so Santa can respond.) Kids will also have the opportunity to decorate an ornament to take home with them both days.
Here are some other things to look forward to at the Neighbors Christmas Open House:
- Terrific SAVINGS on Christmas decorations in the main store! Save 20 percent on artificial wreaths, artificial garland, artificial trees, ribbon (cut to your specifications), picks & stems, ornaments, home decor, pet beds/toys and much more. Also save 10 percent on live poinsettias. (Sale items excluded.)
- Shop a great selection of beautiful, fresh-cut Christmas trees imported from North Carolina to ensure that they are spotted lanternfly-free.
- On Saturday and Sunday, browse the unique works of local artist Jack Siegfried, who is renowned for his Santa, critter and character figurines made out of clay.
Neighbors is located at 38 Main Street in Hellertown, and the store will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Neighbors elves are still busy putting the final details for this weekend in place, so keep an eye out in-store, on their website and on Facebook for more information to come.
