Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville are searching for the driver of a vehicle who they say sideswiped two other vehicles that were stopped in road work-related traffic near mile marker 61 on I-78 east in Upper Saucon Township shortly after midnight on Nov. 18.

In a story published on LehighValleyLive.com Sunday, it was reported that one of the drivers of the two vehicles that were struck–both of whom were uninjured following the accident–is Brielle N. Mertus, 26, of Hellertown, who was driving a 2013 Hyundai Accent east in the left lane at the time.

Police said their investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle headed east in the left lane left the roadway, traveled onto the left shoulder and struck the mirrors on both Mertus’s Hyundai and a 2017 Kia Forte driven by Marissa A. Rosa, 24, of Easton, according to the story.

No description of the suspect vehicle was provided.
