On the Twelfth and final day of recognizing Panther football record holders, Saucon Source wants to honor senior, Ian Csicsek.
Once again, we need to give a great BIG Saucon Source “shout-out” to Saucon Valley football stat gurus Bob Kessler and Rob Lofthouse! Bob and Rob go way above and beyond with their endeavor to keep track of the Saucon Valley Panther football teams. We are truly thankful for their efforts. Without their number-crunching and stat maintenance, this tribute to Panther record-holders would not be possible. Thanks, guys, Panther Nation really appreciates what you do!

Ian said it: “My most memorable moment of the season was coming back and beating Northwestern Lehigh in the playoffs to advance into the District XI championship and States .”
Coach Sams said it: “Ian had a tremendous record-breaking year. He was named 1st Team All-League running back and outside linebacker. During the 2018 season he ran for over 2,800 yards. This was second best for a single season in Saucon Valley history. Ian has been a three-year starter for us on defense and this year he became ‘the guy’ on offense and killed it. The major reason for his success was his work ethic. He trains with the football team, gets extra work in with a speed trainer and takes it upon himself to get other players to work on football in the off-season. He was an easy decision to become one of our captains. Ian will be missed for a long time in this program.”
Congratulations Ian, and best wishes in the future. The Source is with you!
