Edna M. Shup, 90, of Springfield Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Edna M. Shup, 90, of Springfield Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert O. Shup, who died Dec. 15, 2013. She was born in Pleasant Valley on March 16, 1928 to the late Earl and Mary (Cressman) Bealer. Edna worked at the former Western Electric, Allentown as a process checker for 23.5 years until retiring in 1986. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley.

SURVIVORS

Daughter: Karen I. (Gregory) Smith of Coopersburg; siblings: Ray Bealer in Florida, Walter M. (Sue) Bealer of Perkasie, Alice Lear of Fountain Hill; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Erica) and Bryan Smith. She was predeceased by a brother: Paul J. Bealer.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The interment will conclude services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Springfield Township.
