Orpha Louise (Lugg) Franges, passed away peacefully in the company of family on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.
Born Oct. 26, 1923 in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late George Dewey and Annie Agnes (Andrews) Lugg. She was the wife of the late Charles James Franges, who passed in 2004. They had been married for almost 60 years at the time of his death. Throughout Orpha’s life, her greatest joy was always found in spending time with her children. Whether it be her sons, grandchildren or in most recent years her great-grandchildren, Orpha will be remembered as the best mother and “nana” to all who knew her.
SURVIORS
Sons: Skip, Tim and Jim, as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers: Donald, George and Norman Lugg.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
