Fernando P. ‘Fred’ Sousa (1968 – 2024)
Fernando P. “Fred” Sousa, 55, of Bethlehem, died Friday, May 10, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Krug) Sousa. Fred was born in Coimbra, Portugal, on Sept. 20, 1968, to the late Jose and Maria (Aleixo) Sousa. He was a foreman for CVA Construction, Fairless Hills, for 13 years. He was of the Catholic faith. Fernando was a huge Indianapolis 500 enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing and trips to Wildwood Beach. He was a Dallas Cowboys and NY Mets fan. Fred’s last trip was his most memorable–seven months ago–to Disney with the whole family. He was most proud of his grandchildren, who called him Pop Pop.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 35 years; he is survived by sons: Michael A. (Kimberly Zaun) of Hellertown, Scott A. (Clarissa Jaedicke) of Bethlehem; siblings: Francisco (Rosa), Carlos (Sue), all of Bethlehem; Natalie Gregorio of West Palm Beach; five grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to his visitation period from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
