9th Annual Modern Classics Motorcycle Show to Be Held at Martin Moto
The 9th Annual Modern Classics Motorcycle Show will be held at Martin Moto in Boyertown, Pa., Friday evening, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. This show will feature a collection of 100+ motorcycles from the 1960s through the 1990s.
Motorcycle enthusiasts take note: the Ninth Annual Modern Classics Motorcycle Show will be held at Martin Moto in Boyertown, Pa., Friday evening, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.
Each year this unique indoor show puts its main focus on the motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1990s. The Martin Moto inventory is removed from the showroom floor to be replaced by a carefully-selected collection of 100 motorcycles from that era, which form a pop-up motorcycle museum lasting less than 24 hours.
In addition to the usual mix of ‘60s through ‘90s bikes, this year’s edition of The Modern Classics will highlight several important sub-themes: a tribute to the half-century old bikes from 1969 and the Woodstock Era, a gallery of police and first-responder machines, a special collection of Japanese off-road motorcycles and Harley-Davidson machines from the American Machine and Foundry (AMF) era. The show will also give a proverbial tip of the hat to a handful of much older machines from long-extinct but never forgotten brands. Altogether 30 different motorcycle marques from a variety of genres will be represented on the show floor.
The schedule for the show is as follows:
Friday, March 1, 7 to 10 pm: The Modern Classics Kickstart Party presented by Hagerty Insurance and The Grisafi Agency Bike show features moto memorabilia, music, beer, wine and finger food. Tickets: $15 advance ticket purchase online only at ModernClassicsBikeShow.com.
Saturday, March 2, 9 am to 5 pm: The Modern Classics Show. Meet the presenters, learn the history of each bike or just spend time with the machines that made you a motorcyclist.
