Richard F. Lane Sr., 74, of Lower Saucon Township, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Richard F. Lane Sr., 74, of Lower Saucon Township, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.lane He was the husband of the late Dolores E. (Carr) Lane, who died Jan. 1, 2015. He was born in Philadelphia on May 14, 1945 to the late Robert and Helen (Coyle) Lane. Richard served our country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Borough of Quakertown in Wastewater Management and for D&D Maintenance, Coopersburg. Richard was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Colesville. He was a member of the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Son: Patrick B. (Rachelle L. Renninger) Lane of Bethlehem; step-grandchildren: Aiden and Arianna Renninger. He was predeceased by Richard F. “Ricky” Lane Jr., who died Feb. 12, 1998, and an infant brother.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a prayer service at 5 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at HeintzelmanCares.com.
