If you’re someone who loves springtime scenery, head to one of Wildlands Conservancy’s 14 nature preserves and/or the Lehigh River and take photos for a chance to win a cool prize in their annual Spring Photo Contest.

This year’s contest theme is People in Nature. The conservancy cited examples of “people seeking movement, adventure, calm, healing, restoration or just a few minutes with fresh air” in a post about the contest, in which it said that “images of people making lasting memories in nature” will be given special consideration by judges.

“Nature photography has the power to inspire conservation, awareness and get-outdoors adventures,” it said. “In the case for conservation, a photo is worth a thousand words!”

The grand prize winner of the Spring Photo Contest will recieve a Wildlands Conservancy tote bag filled with merchandise. Other award-winning and honorable mention photos will be featured across the organization’s social media channels, email marketing campaigns and possibly in print materials.

Submitted photos cannot include watermarks or text, must be original images and must have been taken with the consent of the subjects in them.

For additional rules and information, as well as information about how to submit a photo for the contest, visit the Wildlands Conservancy website.

The deadline to submit an entry is Friday, May 31 at 11:59 p.m.
