The Lower Saucon Township Historical Society (LSTHS) hosted its annual Apple Festival at the historic Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse in October, drawing a crowd who enjoyed outdoor fall fun, according to organizers.
The family-friendly event featured a variety of apple-themed treats for sale, including apple-themed desserts. Attendees also enjoyed live music by Rhythm Road, tours of the schoolhouse, a visit from Johnny Appleseed, apple tastings, crafts, a cake walk and children’s activities.
The LSTHS hosts community events and fundraisers throughout the year to support its mission of preserving Lower Saucon Township history. For more information about the society or to support its work, visit Lutzfranklin.wordpress.com.
This Tuesday, Nov. 5, local residents can support the LSTHS by making a purchase at their Election Day bake sale, which will be held at the Seidersville Hall polling station in Lower Saucon Township.
