Northampton Community College (NCC) will offer two new programs in 2025 to help individuals bolster their career skills and explore in-demand industries. The programs focus on manufacturing, safety and hands-on learning experiences.

Starting in February, NCC will host its free Career Pathways to Manufacturing program. This 8-week program, running Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 2 pm, will provide students with essential manufacturing skills such as Lean manufacturing, blueprint reading, production, automation and teamwork. The program will also include hands-on training in NCC’s Fab Lab, OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification, local facility tours and a Career Day with potential employers. Classes begin on Feb. 10, 2025 at NCC’s Fowler Family Southside Center in Bethlehem.

For those seeking more flexibility, NCC will offer virtual instructor-led OSHA outreach training classes. Starting in January, these online classes–available in 10 or 30-hour formats–will provide an interactive learning environment with industry expert instructors and peer collaboration. Program completers will receive a Department of Labor completion card.
