Kentucky Man Extradited to Bucks Co. on Sex Trafficking Charges
A Kentucky man charged with sex trafficking a 13-year-old Bucks County girl was extradited to Pennsylvania and arraigned by District Judge Gary Gambardella Tuesday.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s office said 29-year-old Zachary Lee McCauley, of Louisville, used a Snapchat account to create a profile for someone named “Jake,” through which he allegedly communicated with the girl beginning last year.
“McCauley allegedly solicited sexually explicit photos and videos from the victim and later coerced her into creating a fake online dating profile to arrange sexual encounters with men” through an online dating site, the DA’s office said Wednesday.
“At least one of the encounters was video recorded via Snapchat,” it added.
McCauley is charged with one count each of trafficking in individuals, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communication facility, as well as three counts each of sexual exploitation of children, solicitation to commit statutory sexual assault, solicitation to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, solicitation to commit patronizing victim of sexual servitude, solicitation to commit aggravated indecent assault and solicitation to commit sexual abuse of children.
Following his arraignment, McCauley was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10 million cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 31 at 9 a.m. before District Judge Maggie Snow, according to court records.
The records did not list an attorney for McCauley.
Two local men are also charged in connection with the case and are awaiting trial, according to the DA’s office. Jon Thomas Van Ingen, 67, of Buckingham Township, is charged with statutory sexual assault, and Randy Francis Quinn, 42, of Coopersburg, is charged with two counts of statutory sexual assault, photographing or filming a child sex act and dissemination of photos or film of child sex acts.
Note: All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using information from the Bucks County District Attorney’s office and Bucks County court records.
