Enjoy ‘Music in the Park’ Concert in Hellertown Sunday

By this Sunday, the heat wave the area is currently experiencing will be a memory, which is good news for local music lovers and the organizers of Hellertown’s 2026 Music in the Park concert series in Dimmick Park.

The third installment in this year’s series will be a concert from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring The Weekenders, a popular local band who perform a mix of rock, pop and dance covers spanning several decades.

Featured food and drink vendors for the July 19 concert will include Greek Street, Mon & Mel’s Sweet Scoops, Easton Wine Project, Lost Tavern Brewing and Dewey Fire Co., whose volunteers will be selling food in the pavilion.

Admission to the concert is free, and residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating in front of the stage.

The final concert in this year’s series is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m., and will feature Gruvitune. Vendors for that show will include Slide On By, Mon & Mel’s Sweet Scoops, Easton Wine Project, Lost Tavern Brewing and Hellertown Area Library.

This year’s Music in the Park sponsors include Steel Club, the Borough of Hellertown, Heintzelman Funeral Home/Lehigh Valley Crematory Services, the County of Northampton, Creekview Veterinary Hospital, Carl Volkman and Sons HVAC, Intentional Counseling and Wellness, Truist and Lost River Caverns. The series is presented annually by the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce with funding support from the Northampton County Hotel Tax Program.

ā€œMusic in the Park is more than just a concert series; it’s a celebration of community,ā€ said Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Executive Vice President at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber.Ā ā€œIt’s an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to unwind, connect and enjoy local and regional favorites.ā€
