On Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, the Saucon Valley Conservancy’s ninth Annual Barn Tour will start at the Beethoven Waldheim Club, 1984 Waldheim Road, Hellertown.

The day will begin with a talk about local barns featuring barn experts Robert Ensminger and Gregory Huber. A self-guided tour of privately-owned Saucon Valley barns (maps provided) will begin at 11:30 a.m., with Saucon Valley Conservancy docents stationed at each of the barns until 4 p.m.

The barn tour is an opportunity for local residents to learn about the history, structure and uses of the Saucon Valley’s historic barns and get a chance to see them–as well as photograph them–from inside and outside.

Before the tour, stop by the Heller Homestead to view a Barn Photo Exhibit in the Heller Art Gallery.
