Woman Shoplifted Lubricant, Inhalers, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say a township woman was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft after she allegedly shoplifted over-the-counter medicine and personal care items from the Giant Food Store at 1880 Leithsville Road Sunday.

In a news release, police said an officer who’d stopped at the store to purchase a drink shortly after midnight saw Meghann Geyer, 28, of the 2200 block of Green Pine Lane, walk into the store and pick up eight boxes of Benzedrex–a type of nasal decongestant inhaler–as well as a container of Trojan lubricant and a container of Durex lubricant.

“The officer observed her conceal the items into her purse and coat in the aisles at Giant,” the news release said.

Geyer then allegedly exited the store without purchasing the concealed items, which police said were valued at $64.40.
