Woman Stole $541 in Razors, Blades, Police Say

A Bethlehem woman was charged with retail theft after she was allegedly observed on store surveillance footage stealing razors and replacement blades valued at $541.79 from the Giant Food Store at 1880 Leithsville Road Monday, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Thursday.

According to police, Jennifer Becker, 30, of the 700 block of Hillside Avenue, put the razors and blades in her purse before leaving the store without paying for them.

Police said Becker was arraigned before District Judge David Tidd and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
