Sunday at the Saucon Valley Farmers Market: Photos
Sunday, June 1 was another busy day at the Saucon Valley Farmers Market, which is celebrating its 20th season this year. Hundreds of shoppers perused the offerings of nearly two dozen local vendors while enjoying music performed by Bill Ihling.
This Sunday’s market will feature music by Brian Michael Smith with Kevin Boland. Hellertown Area Library volunteers will be at the Community Tent, and Breadfermented will be the vendor of the week. Breadfermented is a local artisan baker of fermented sourdough breads and other items made with organic ancient grains and high quality flour.
In the Art Zone tent, kids will have the opportunity to capture the magic of rain days, one brushstroke at a time. At the information booth, guests can enter the market’s free sunflower growing contest and pick up a free Customer Loyalty Card.
Additional vendors scheduled to be at the June 8 market include Aroi Mango, Back Door Bakeshop, Beets the Meat, Clean Green Growers, Epic Acre Farm, Farmhouse Bakery, Green Star Farms, Helwa Awï, Hershberger Heritage Farm, Hilltop Haven Wine, Love Grown Grains, Macungie Mountain Herb Farm, Mad Catter Coffee, Mainly Mushrooms, Marie’s Soap, Moon Gate Farms, Popcorn Pit, Saint Rocco’s Treats, Solsbury Hill Scoop Shoppe, Steel City Cuisine, Stehly’s Bakery and Tumble Creek Farms.
