Sunglass Chain Coming to Promenade
Although summer is coming to an end, for most people sunglasses are a year-round necessity, and Saucon Valley residents who need shades will soon have another option when deciding where to purchase them.
Sunglass Hut will open in the Promenade Saucon Valley later this fall, officials with the retail center announced Tuesday.
According to a news release, Sunglass Hut’s new 800 square foot store will be located next to Bath & Body Works.
“Founded in 1971, Sunglass Hut has grown into a global brand with more than 3,000 retail locations and a robust online presence,” the release said. “The retailer is known for carrying an expertly curated mix of iconic designers and emerging labels—including Prada, Versace and Ray-Ban—and for delivering a shopping experience that combines fashion, quality and innovation.”
Currently the only Sunglass Hut store in the area is at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall.
The news that Sunglass Hut will soon open in Center Valley comes amid a flurry of announcements related to store openings and closings at the Promenade.
Among the recent closings are GailGray Home Furnishings and Design and Bar Louie. Recent openings include Color Me Mine, a paint-your-own pottery studio. Recently announced future tenants include Norman’s Hallmark and Sephora.
