Diane S. (Youngkin) Bartman (1953 – 2025)

Diane S. (Youngkin) Bartman, 72, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 in her home. She was the wife of Thomas F. Bartman, to whom she was married 50 years. Born in Fountain Hill on Jan. 6, 1953, Diane was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Margaret M. (Hoffert) Youngkin. A dedicated licensed practical nurse, Diane devoted her life to the well-being of others, caring for patients in both the hospital setting and local doctor’s offices throughout her career. She was a member of Cedar Church, Allentown. Diane loved Disney and baking, but most of all she loved her family.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband, Thomas; son, Matthew T. Bartman and his wife, Erin, of West Chester; daughter, Jessica M. Schmidt and her husband, Robert, of Murray Hill, N.J.; grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily, Allison, Avery, Parker; sister-in-law, Roberta A. Youngkin of Magnolia, N.J. She was predeceased by siblings, James E. Youngkin, Janet M. Gardner; brother-in-law, Howard W. Gardner.

SERVICES

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Online expressions of sympathy may be shared at Heintzelmancares.com.
