$13,000 Stolen from Convenience Store Skill Game, Police Say
Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating the theft of $13,000 in cash from a skill game machine in an upper Bucks County convenience store.
According to a news release from the Dublin barracks, the theft occurred Oct. 29 at the Top Star Exxon at 2030 John Fries Highway in Milford Township, near Quakertown.
Police said staff at the store told officers “they observed two individuals break into a Buffalo Skills machine and take money out of the machine,” and that the pair “left the scene prior to staff realizing the money had been taken.”
According to the release, the theft happened shortly before 10 a.m., and the suspects were seen in a 2024 black Jeep.
Regulating the popular skill games that are now found in many convenience stores and other businesses around the state has become a hot topic in Harrisburg, although the state legislature did not address it in the 2026 budget approved late last year, according to a story by Spotlight PA.
