The annual Saucon Valley Easter Egg Hunt was held in Hellertown's Dimmick Park Saturday, where hundreds had fun hunting for the colorful eggs the day before Easter.
Although the weather isn't expected to be quite as nice as it was Friday, the conditions for Saturday's Saucon Valley Easter Egg Hunt in Hellertown's Dimmick Park should still be "egg-cellent."
Although Hellertown kids missed out on traditional Easter fun in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021 local volunteers are working hard so families will be able to enjoy free events featuring the Easter Bunny, candy and more.
In spite of the wet weather that preceded the event, hundreds of families came to Dimmick Park in Hellertown Saturday morning to meet the Easter Bunny and then hunt for eggs at various age-specific areas.
The 2019 Saucon Valley Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 20 at 10 a.m. in Dimmick Park in Hellertown. Come early to see the Easter Bunny arrive by fire truck and to line up according to age group. The siren signaling the start of the egg hunt will sound at 10 a.m. sharp.
The cafe which specializes in serving up delicious nitrogen-frozen ice cream treats, artisanal coffees and more opened in October, and will celebrate its official grand opening and the arrival of spring with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, March 22 from 5 to 7 p.m.
