LSPD Cites 10 During April 1 Aggressive Driving Detail

The Lower Saucon Township Police Department issued 10 citations and three written warnings during an April 1 aggressive driving detail along the Rt. 378 corridor, according to a news release issued Thursday.

According to police, the detail was conducted from 7 to 11 a.m. and was sponsored by PA Aggressive Driving–a statewide initiative that provides funding to local police to help enforce traffic safety laws.

Police said two citations were issued for speeding, two for a disregarding a red light, one for “required position and method of turning,” two for driving with an expired inspection, one for driving on a suspended license and one for driving an unregistered vehicle.

The warnings issued were for disobeying traffic control devices and a faulty repair.

This is the second aggressive driving detail conducted by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department along Rt. 378 in as many weeks.
