A resident of Hellertown’s north end said Monday that her car was broken into over the weekend, during a “rash” of vehicle breakins borough police are now reportedly investigating.

The Roth Avenue resident said her car was unlocked when it was entered, and its glove compartment rummaged through.

Nothing appeared to have been taken, she said.

Other breakins reportedly occurred over the weekend on Jefferson Street and Clark Street near CVS in Hellertown.

Suspicious activity should be reported to the Hellertown Police Department by calling 610-838-7040, and residents are advised to lock their car doors.
