Middle School Student Had Pot, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say a Saucon Valley Middle School student was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was allegedly found to be in possession of the narcotic Feb. 6.

In a news release, police said the 14-year-old boy from Lower Saucon Township allegedly had the items in his locker at the school.

Police added that the student is also facing disciplinary action from the school.
