Demolition work began in November, after plans submitted by the new owner were submitted and approved by borough council last June.
New street-facing windows were recently installed, and the underside of the building’s iconic marquis is currently exposed.
The theater first opened as the Sauconia in 1940, and last operated as a cinema in 2001.
The new owner-occupant will be dentist James Newman, who already has a practice in Pen Argyl.
