Florence E. Thompson, 89, of Bethlehem Township died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem.florence She was the wife of the late Harold J. Thompson. She was born in Plymouth on Sept. 20, 1925 to the late Clyde R. and Margaret (Arndt) Payne. Florence was a Registered Nurse at Warren Hospital and Easton Hospital, and was a secretary in the color lab of Binney and Smith until her retirement. She attended Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen, and was a past member of Church of the Nazarene, and a charter member of the Nazarene Church of Bangor.

SURVIVORS

Loving daughters: Sherry L. of Bethlehem Township, Annelle E. Conover of Easton; two grandchildren: Roland “Ron” Cahill and Tiffany Kee; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at the church, 3221 Bingen Road, (Bingen) Bethlehem. The interment will conclude services at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township. CONTRIBUTIONS

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church Building Fund at Ebenezer New Reformed Church, 3221 Bingen Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
