Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday the owner of two “large” dogs that allegedly got loose over the weekend was cited for failure to keep the animals confined.

In a news release, police said Kim Lebkuecher, of the 1700 block of Railroad Lane, was cited after police received a report of the dogs “wandering around neighbors’ properties” at 1:14 a.m. Saturday.

Police said they subsequently observed the dogs “running in the middle of the roadway on Meadows Road, causing a traffic hazard.”

Lebkuecher “has been warned numerous times in the past” about keeping the dogs confined, police said.
