Rare $10,000 Bicycle Stolen from Polk Valley Road Home, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a residential burglary which occurred in the 2400 block of Polk Valley Road sometime between Feb. 17 and Feb. 23, in which a custom carbon fiber road bike valued at $10,000 was stolen.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a residential burglary which occurred in the 2400 block of Polk Valley Road sometime between Feb. 17 and Feb. 23, in which a custom carbon fiber road bike valued at $10,000 was stolen.

In a Facebook post with accompanying photo Monday, police said the bike is a BH G7 Disc with Ultegra components, red speed play pedals and a water bottle cage.

“This bike is reportedly only 1 of 15 made,” police said.

Anyone with information about its whereabouts or the burglary is asked to call township police via the Northampton County Communications Center at 610-759-2200.
