Split Rail Fence Damaged in Hit-and-Run Crash, Police Say

A homeowner’s split rail fence was damaged in a hit-and-run accident at Saucon Valley and Weyhill Farm roads Friday, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.

A homeowner’s split rail fence was damaged in a hit-and-run accident at Saucon Valley and Weyhill Farm roads Friday, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.

According to police, the fence was damaged when a truck making a turn reportedly ran over a section of it in the 1500 block of Saucon Valley Road sometime during the early morning hours Friday.

“The truck then left the area without notifying the property owner or police,” the news release indicated.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
