Michael J. Duch, 74, of Lower Saucon Township, died Friday, May 6, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Loretta G. (Moyer) Duch. He was born in Allentown on May 7, 1941 to the late Michael J. Sr. and Theresa (Inhoff) Duch. Michael served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the sexton of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church and a janitor at Bethlehem First Church of the Nazarene for many years. He had also worked at the former Bethlehem Steel Co. in general services for 19 years. Michael was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township, where he was very active in various groups.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving spouse of 52 years; daughters: Lisa M. (Daniel F.) Kichline of Bethlehem, Tina L. (William W.) Young of Allentown; siblings: Ronald (Jeanette) Duch of Allentown, Cecelia Duch of Allentown; four grandsons: Derek, Shawn, Alex, Eric.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at New Jerusalem Evangelical Church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem.
