Lower Saucon Township Police said a Scranton man was arrested June 11 for DUI on Easton Road near Dairy Lane.

In a news release, police said William Mclane, of the 1900 block of Jackson Street, was approached by officers after his vehicle was reported to be stopped in the middle of Easton Road at around 3:30 a.m.

By the time police arrived on scene, they said Mclane’s vehicle was “more on the side of the road,” and he was determined to be exhibiting signs of impairment.

After field sobriety testing, police said Mclane was taken to a hospitalĀ for a blood test, which he refused.

He has been charged with DUI, they added.
