The first week of September marks Charity’s one-year anniversary at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare.
Charity was found as a stray and has tested positive for FIV, so she has not met many people since arriving but the shelter is hoping to change that!
FIV cats make wonderful, loving pets and can live a normal life. Many FIV cats have lived for years with cats that tested negative for FIV without their health ever being compromised, according to the Center. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans.
Stop by the center to visit Charity and see her beautiful green eyes for yourself.
